Emergency Closure Procedure
We aim to inform you as soon as possible if the school needs to be closed in the event of an emergency. This could include the risk of flood, fire, sudden snowfall or any other potential danger. Our main means of communication on these matters is through 'Parentmail', but please also listen to your local radio stations or visit their websites, where current information will be made available. Please read on for further details.

We ask for your patience and understanding as our main consideration is for the safety of our pupils, parents and staff.

This is how the system will operate:

• All families will need to register with Parentmail2 giving a current e-mail address and mobile phone number. Contact the school office for a registration letter.
• Parents must ensure that this is kept up-to-date with Parentmail2.
• The system will only work if you regularly check your mail.
When you arrive at school the children will be collected from their classrooms unless directed otherwise.
